Hitcham and Taplow Society have launched a new website this month. Now with mobile friendly formatting, it is hoped that it will provide a more modern way to keep members informed about planning matters and community news bulletins for the area. HTS are also working on new features such as online membership systems and online ticketing for the Village Green Party. The newsletter will, of course, remain our flagship popular publication, but the website will compliment it with campaigns and other ways you can get involved with HTS. An update from Taplow Parish Council, taken from their latest email news. Rectory Road : Icing Following minor accidents on Rectory Road near St Nicolas Church the Parish Council have, in collaboration with County Councillor Dev Dhillon, raised the funding to install a salt bin close to the affected area. The Parish Council will, at its discretion, keep the bin filled with salt but salt spreading will be a matter for the public. The Barn on the Green Following concerns from St Nicolas School, the Parish Council are investigating improvements to the barn on the green, in collaboration with the other joint owners. Defibrillators Taplow Parish Council are looking for suitable places to install defibrillators. Suggestions welcome.
