UPDATE FROM NETWORK RAIL: JUNE 2006
Network Rail has now advised that their restoration of the Taplow Station footbridge:
"...remains firmly on-course with the work due to be finished in time for the World Rowing Championships".

UPDATE ON FOOTBRIDGE WORK:
TRUG obtained final agreement from Network Rail for refurbishment of the bridge in mid-June, and a £250,000 re-build has now started, and is on schedule for completion before the World Rowing Championships in august.
This success is a very good basis for acheiving other station and rail service improvements that TRUG is aiming for.
