It is with great sadness that I have to announce the death of one of our past Presidents, Leonard Miall. Leonard has been a tower of strength to the Society over many years. His knowledge of the history and background of Taplow and the surrounding area was authoritative and inexhaustible. His judgement and advice proved invaluable in a wide range of the Society’s activities, given always with humour and understanding. The Society will gratefully remember him and his contribution in the years to come. We would like to extend our condolences to Sally Miall and his family. We will all miss him.
