If you do not already have a username and password for the site, go to the
registration page and create one.
Links on the left allow you to edit pages and also to see the history
of changes. This is a TWiki site so you don't need to know anything about
HTML or web design to add your own text.
If you want to add words to an existing page, just go to that page and
click the
Edit link on the left. Click where you want to put the text
and start typing. Leave a completely blank line between paragraphs.
When you are finished, click the
Save Changes button
at the bottom.
If you want to try things out without messing up any important pages, go to
The Playpen
To create a completely new page, first edit the page that will link to
it and put in a
WikiWord where you want the link to be.
When you save the changes, your
WikiWord will show up in a different
colour with a question mark to show that it does not yet point to a real
page. Click on the question mark to create and edit your new page.
You can add pictures to any page that you can edit. Make sure you save the
picture in JPEG format, and try to keep the file under 100k to avoid slow
downloads. Most web browsers only have space for about 700x500 pixel images without
scrolling so keep the size below that if at all possible.
Click the
Add picture link on the left, browse for the file on
your local disk, and click the
Upload File button. You may then want to
edit the page and move the picture link to a more sensible place.
The same process works for other types of file (PDF etc).
To create a gallery page, just put the keyword %IMAGEGALLERY% in the page where you
want the thumbnail images to appear. Every image file that you add to the page will appear
in the gallery. When adding pictures to galleries, turn off the 'Create a link' checkbox
otherwise the full-size picture will appear on the page as well!

TWikiShorthand page.

with it, see
