- Comment: I was student nurse at the Canadian Red Cross Memorial Hospital 1969-1973. I was very excited to find this site but very sad about what has happened to Hitcham House. I have fantastic and happy memories of the magnificent house. I also remember Beryl Montague, one of my teachers - can I make contact with her ? I also have some photographs of the house and grounds.
